ORDERING

How do I place an order?

It’s easy. Add your chosen ribbon to cart, then enter your personalisation details at checkout including:

  • Player name
  • Team or club name
  • Team colours

If you’re unsure about anything, email us at liv@teamribbons.com.au before ordering and we’ll help.

How do I tell you what personalisation I want?

At checkout, use the personalisation box to enter:

  • Player name
  • Team or club name

Then add your team colours in the notes section.
If we need anything clarified, we’ll contact you before production.

Can I order just one ribbon?

Yes absolutely — there’s no minimum order.

What information do I need to provide?

For each order, please include:

  • Player’s name (exact spelling)
  • Team or club name
  • Team colours (e.g. red and black, navy and gold)
  • Preferred style (Waterfall Ribbon or Classic Bow)
  • Sport print (optional — netball, volleyball, cheer, etc.)

What’s the difference between Classic Bow and Waterfall Ribbon?

  • Classic Bow → Full, shaped bow. Neat and perfect for ponytails
  • Waterfall Ribbon → Long flowing tails with movement for game day

Both styles are available personalised or ready-to-wear.

Can I choose any colours?

Yes — we can match almost any team colour combination.

For best results:

  • Be specific (e.g. navy and gold, not yellow)
  • Or send us a photo of your uniform

Can I see a mock-up before you make it?

Yes — especially for team orders.

Request a mock-up in your order notes or email us before production.

Do you take custom requests?

Yes — we love custom requests.

If you need something outside the standard options, email us and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

PRODUCTION & TIMING

How long does it take to make my order?

All ribbons are handmade to order.

  • Standard orders: 1–3 business days
  • Team orders (10+): 5–7 business days

I need my order by a specific date — can you help?

Possibly — contact us before ordering with your deadline.

We always try to accommodate important events where possible.

Can I make changes after ordering?

Yes — if production hasn’t started.

Email us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to update your order.

Where do you ship?

Australia-wide via Australia Post.

How much does shipping cost?

  • Standard: $8.95
  • Express: $14.95
  • Free standard shipping on orders over $60

How long does delivery take?

After dispatch:

  • Standard: 3–7 business days
  • Express: 1–3 business days

Rural areas may take slightly longer.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes — Mornington Peninsula pickup available by appointment.

Select Local Pickup at checkout and we’ll arrange a time.

Will I get tracking?

Yes — you’ll receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched.

What’s included with my order?

Every ribbon is carefully packaged to feel special on arrival — whether it’s for your child or a gift.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Can I return my order?

As each ribbon is custom-made, we don’t accept returns for change of mind.

Please double-check all details before ordering.

What if my order is incorrect or damaged?

Contact us within 7 days with:

  • Your order number
  • A photo

We’ll organise a replacement or refund.

I made a typo — can it be fixed?

Yes — if production hasn’t started.

Contact us immediately.

What if the hair tie breaks?

If your hair tie breaks, contact us and we’ll help repair or replace it.

What are school colour bows?

Simple, handmade bows in your school colour.

  • No personalisation
  • Perfect for everyday wear

Can I get any school colour?

Yes — include your colour in the order notes or send a uniform photo.

Are school bows personalised?

No — they are plain bows.

For personalised options, choose our Classic Bow.

Can I order in bulk for a school?

Yes — bulk pricing is available for 10+ units.

Are they suitable for all hair types?

Yes — designed to suit all hair types and stay secure during the day.

Who makes the ribbons?

Hi, I’m Liv — a mum of two sporty girls based on the Mornington Peninsula.

Every ribbon is handmade by me, one at a time, in my home studio.

Are they suitable for all hair types?

Yes — they attach to a standard elastic and work with all hair types.

How do I care for my ribbon?

  • Spot clean only
  • Do not machine wash
  • Store flat or hanging
